Mo Farah Aims to Run Down Defending World Half Marathon Champion Geoffrey Kamworor on Cardiff StreetsPublished by Wales Online on March 24, 2016 The last time Mo Farah locked swords with Geoffrey Kamworor he just managed to outkick the Kenyan to retain his IAAF World Championship 10,000 metre title. They will meet again on the streets of Cardiff in the IAAF/Cardiff University World Half Marathon this weekend, but the boot will be on the other foot. This time it will be the British athlete hunting down Kamworor as he attempts to pick up an eighth global title en route to this summer’s last double assault on the track at the Rio Olympics. Farah may be the man the Africans can’t get the better of on the track, even when they do gang up on him as they did in Beijing last year, but on the roads it is a different matter.
